10-11-18 – OHFA Announces New Fund Aimed at Creating Diverse, Mixed-Income Communities
The Fair Housing Act 50 Building Opportunity Fund (FHAct50) empowers Cincinnati, Cleveland and Columbus to distribute $3 million in housing tax credits in a single neighborhood where market trends indicate that affordable housing is most at-risk.
6-26-18 – New Report Shows Ohioans Spend More Than Half Their Income on Housing and Transportation
Our annual assessment examines various topics from the quality of Ohio's housing to issues affecting children, veterans and more, and is updated every year to provide the most accurate data on housing in Ohio.
6-19-18 – OHFA Awards Over $2 Million to Provide Affordable Housing to Seniors and Veterans
OHFA is providing $2,885,000 to McBride Place, a three-story, affordable housing development in Dayton, Ohio. This development will be located at 4100 West Third Street, which is on the Veterans Affairs (VA) campus, and will provide 59 units of affordable housing to seniors with special preference given to veterans.
5-22-18 – OHFA Awards Housing Tax Credits to Developments That Prioritize Reducing Infant Mortality
OHFA awarded housing tax credits to ten developments leveraging $500,000 to reduce infant mortality. These developments, located across the state of Ohio, will partner with eight organizations who will work with residents at-risk of being impacted by infant mortality.
5-16-18 – OHFA Allocates over $280 Million in Housing Tax Credits to Expand Affordable Housing
OHFA's Board announced the recipients of the 2018 Housing Tax Credit (HTC) program awards, used to fund the construction, acquisition and rehabilitation of affordable housing communities throughout Ohio.

4-4-18 – 50 Years of Opening Doors: OHFA Celebrates National Fair Housing Month
OHFA joins organizations across the country in recognizing April as National Fair Housing Month and celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Fair Housing Act.
3-28-18 – OHFA and OCCH Announce First Race for a Place (to Call Home) 5K
This family-friendly event will take place in downtown Columbus on Saturday, April 7, 2018. This race will raise awareness about the positive impact affordable housing has on communities and the lives of residents.
3-21-18 – Governor John Kasich Appoints Duana M. Patton to OHFA's Board
Ms. Patton has 30 years of experience with nonprofit organizations. As CEO of the Ohio District Five Area Agency on Aging, Inc., she has focused on collaborating with local organizations to provide resources to seniors in the agency's nine-county area.
1-24-18 – OHFA Awards Funding to Central Ohio Housing Opportunity Project, Move to PROSPER
The program will provide short-term rental support to help families with young children move to high-opportunity neighborhoods that are safe, have quality schools, provide access to employment and possess other indicators of opportunity.
1-2-18 – OHFA Joins Fight to Reduce Infant Mortality and Awards Funding for Housing Assistance Program
OHFA has announced that CelebrateOne, a Franklin County-based organization created to reduce infant mortality, will receive funding to implement a pilot program to provide rental assistance, health care, social services and more to low-income households at risk for infant mortality.
